Dodge Query - Long Travel 2nd Gen Dakota

Ok, So I have been reading around on the internet and watching Baja highlights. I have decided that I would like to make a long travel Dakota but all of the parts i find are for Ram 1500s. I am also looking for fabrication plans to adapt the 1500 parts to the dakota so that in the event i do not find any parts specifically for Dakota i can still have a long travel truck.
Just looking for advice, part and/or fabrication plans.

also it looks really awesome. only because of the real short grill and lights.

I can offer no advice, since my fabrication skills are extremely limited. But I can say it sounds like a very cool and unique project, look forward to seeing it.

I'm looking forward to seeing it completed too but, unfortunately I am extremely poor at the moment and out of a job. So it will probably be a couple years until i have the funds/know-how to do this right. So when completed i will try to post up fabrication plans and parts list. but until that time i am in need of advice and links to parts/plans.
