Yeah, count the number of teeth on the pinion. Then divide the number of Ring gear teeth by the number of Pinion teeth, and that will give you your ratio.

Here you go.
46-13=3.54
39-11=3.55
41-11=3.73
45-11=4.09
41-10=4.10
47-11=4.27
50-11=4.55
44-9=4.89
43-8=5.38

I would count again. I bet you actually have the 41 tooth 3.73 carrier but you may have the 4.10. I have also heard of a 43-10 4.30 gear from a isuzu but it used the higher(numerically lower) ratio carrier

Here is a stupid twist on the same Q. What if you could just get a ring gear, could you replace it if it had say an 11 pinion? I know all the stupid comments already. so don't bother. I'm serios. Or is the pinion a different size from the 3.55 to the 4.55's? plus i thought it was 4.56's...

I'm pretty sure gearsets are cut to match eachother. So you can't take a pinion from one gearset and run it with a ring from another. I don't think it would work.

Matt, are you sure you counted right? 42 and 12 isnt in the list, niether is 42 in any equation or 12. You sure its not 41 and 11?(assuming herzog put in a complete list)

None of the RandP charts I could find listed a 3.50 gear set for Dana but that does not mean nobody makes them. I thought 3.50 was a Ford 9" ratio only.

3.50 gears are available for reverse spiral dana 44s for the front of ford trucks sorry for the bad info I gave earlier. They are not available for standard low pinion44s as far as I know.
