Raccoons

What do you do with them?

Kill them?

Let them be?

I am in no immediate danger with them but I know where they come from near my place.

I hear them fighting/killing the kitty cats and chickens all the time. noisy bastards.

you tie a rope around them and at night when a car comes zooming down gentile you pull them across the street into the cars path....

Just kidding... I never would do that... if they are threating other domestic animals you can call the animal control in layton and they will come out and round them up and move them elsewhere...

What you can do is trap them and hand them over to DWR. Thats the most humane thing you can do. Whatever you do, don't handle them yourself. If they bite you it can be pretty nasty.

About 10 years ago I was told it was open season on them as they are a parasitic species here??? Fish & Wildlife guy was the one telling me, so..... maybe call them and see what they say?

Where there is one raccoon there are several more.
