Trip Report Rattlesnake/Up to Mercur Mine Overlook: A Snow Run

My family had some time constraints and the little Sahara trip didn't work. So we made a quick trip to 5 Mile to play in the snow. We made first tracks up through Rattlesnake and then motored up into the hills to the Mercur mine overlook. Lots of fun. And probably upwards of 18"-24" of snow at the overlook.

I love that in the snow. I ran that exactly 1 year ago in the snow on a 125cc dirt bike. So pretty up there with all that new powder!
