I've never built the rear bumper because of my shackle setup. I have a piece of 1.5" tube bent in a "V" for the upper part, 2x4 3/16" x 10' piece of tube for the rear bumper and a Summit Machine spindle/bearing/hub setup for the swingaway.
I never did figure out a lock (not that there aren't tons of solutions out there) or how to mount it to my frame while giving the shackles as much movement as they need.
Whole setup for $250. I'd imagine some of the steel is worth that much nowadays?
