rear disk brake stud Q's

I had a kit on my 14bolt FF 3/4 ton when I got it. It was kinda mickied and the PO wanted it back. well the p/o welded the studs to the rotor. I now see why. The studs press into the hub but not the rotor. So what do I do now? I don't want to weld...

I just pressed mine through the rotor and the hub. They are the ones that came with the axle.

did they technically "press" into the rotor? or did they "fall" through the rotor and "press" into the hub? I will do more work today on it... (like I'd say ok I give up )

I used a punch and a hammer to put them in.

I just hand cranked the hell out of em with my tire wrench untill they are snug. Were good to go now....
