Redbox review: BROOKLYN'S FINEST

Rented this on a really late whim, after picking up milk at midnight.

I did not have high expectations, more looking for a late-night filler of a movie, with some action. However, I was pleasantly surprised.

Story has three main characters, with three different agendas-- a middling cop retiring in a week, a raid-hungry crooked cop trying to do what he thinks is right by his family, and an undercover cop losing sight of the line between the law and what is right.

Pretty interesting movie, with a nice pace, no dead spots. A fair amount of satisfying action/dialogue, real gritty cop stuff if you dig that kind of movie. :D Even Richard Gere was good in this.

The ending comes around too soon, but with a satisfyingly conflicted conclusion.

9 Tacoma Points for solid acting, decent story, relative ending, and overall satisfaction factor. :D
