I have a set of set of 5 35 x 12.50 x 17 BFG KM2s on stock JK wheels that I just took off my new purchase. The tires have been rotated regularly and run down the road nicely. They all have more than 50% tread and the spare has more tread and was not in the rotation. The wheel in the picture is the worst rock rash of the 5. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I'd say you are in the ballpark on price. I wish I had the room/gearing for 35s.
