Thanks to all the crew and volunteers that helped out at the 2013 King of the Hammers.

We were very optimistic after practicing and tuning heading into the LCQ. Unfortunately we had a small issue with the Tcase which put us in a bad spot in the rocks causing a rollover.
At that time we thought we were done for the week, until Brad and Roger Lovell offered to team up and let us run our car in there spot. They blew their motor during LCQ.

We scrambled and got the car ready to go. Changed the number to Lovell's #1. Since we didn't qualify we had to start near the back. Once we were finally on the course, we noticed the tranny started to slip. Finally at about mile marker 23 the ATF heated up causing a tranny cooler line to blow and ruin the tranny. That put us out for good.

Our crew joined forces with JT Taylors #13 Torchmate car in the pits and helped him finish 12th.

Thanks again to the crew and expecially Bart Jacobs for being our crew chief.

Sorry about all the bad luck... But, I'd assume a crappy day racing beats a good day working. :) It was good to see you all down there!
