it was awesome! int the same way that Army of Darkness is awesome. It's just making fun of itself the entire time. If you can't appreciate or understand the comedy and satircal nature of it then you probably wouldn't enjoy it.
If you go into it thinking that 'snakes on a plane' is going to be or was ever intended to be a thrilling epic with thorough character development and edge of your seat plot, then you have the wrong idea and won't appreciate it in all it's amazingly rediculous glory.
