Yes, which begs the question how much the American people should care, especially if young lives will be at risk. Biden should have already explained the why - in a manner that every American can understand.
I've seen a lot of clips in the last year that news articles have used to talk about the military that are directly from Arma 3. It's hilarious/terrifying how ignorant people can be.There's a ton of fake news out there. I don't know how much is actual wartime propaganda/misinformation and how much is just social media retards posting fake shit for internet points, but here's examples:
Shane's right on this one. Lotta bastards taking videos and pics out of context and putting their own spin on it (or flat out lying) to further whatever political affiliation they have.
We're not here for plausible explanations. We're here for Jewish Space Lasers.FWIW, in the weeks leading up to the invasion, there were videos broadcast around the world, of Ukranians going through training drills, with plywood facsimiles of AK-47s.
Yup, that was a pretty common story. And not unprecedented. For example the British Army and Territorials trained with wooden guns (or broomsticks!) after Dunkirk because they left so much equipment behind in Europe and every available live weapon was heading to North Africa at the time. US forces also trained with wooden guns leading up to and right after our entry into WWII because we didn't have enough real ones for new recruits.FWIW, in the weeks leading up to the invasion, there were videos broadcast around the world, of Ukranians going through training drills, with plywood facsimiles of AK-47s.
Re: fake AKs: So it's OK to use that footage for the current events under the guise of action? Still seems extremely misleading. But whatever supports your version of the story.
All I'm saying is not to fall for the emotional fear porn shit that's being peddled.
Apologies, my comment wasn't directed toward you but rather the others who took it as some kind of proof that the media wasn't lying to them.Of course. Memes may or may not be factual.
I posted a meme in the 'lighten the mood' thread, that Alec Baldwin was being deployed to the Ukraine. I don't believe for one second he actually will be.
Everyone knows he limits his killing to movie sets.
