Listing my son's beautiful (ugly) 1996 Mazda Protege. $350 obo. Could be a Gambler candidate...

You could own this super cherry, slightly wrecked (ok, more than slightly damaged) 1996 Mazda Protege. It runs and drives, but was involved in a collision that has rendered it useless to me. Make me an offer more than scrap pricing and this sweet ride is yours! Asking $350 obo.
Why you want this car:
-Newer tires (less than 10k miles on them) 1 1/2 years old
-Newer struts and shocks (less than 10k miles on them) 1 1/2 years old
-New front brakes (less than 300 miles on them, not that they helped a teenager avoid rear-ending another car on a snowy day... bur I digress). The front pads and rotors are in great shape!
-Engine runs well with minimal leaks
-Transmission shifts well, clutch feels solid
-Would make a great parts car if you are hoarding these highly sought after (I am making a slight assumption there) Mazda Protege's or have one that needs something this has to offer
-You want a total POS to teach someone how to drive a manual transmission in that you don't care what happens to (the car that is, i am sure you love and care about the person you are trying to teach)
-You want something that you can register for minimal cost with duct tape and a hammer
-You want to part it out and recover twice or more your investment (tires and struts alone are worth double what I have it listed for)
-You want to run it in a demolition derby
-You are looking for a Gambler 500 car (i am sure it has a few thousand miles left in it)
-You need parts for a killer go cart
The bad, beside the obvious body damage:
-A/C doesn't work
-No Stereo or speakers
No dealers (I don't need them beating down my door for this awesome car)!
