Specs for dana 44

All right guys, I need to know what year dana 44s and make of vehicle that will swap across to my 91 cherokee and dont have to do a lot of mods. Any info would be appreicated. If anyone knows some good used ones please tell me.

You will need a Ford or Late model Dodge front axle. The cheapest ones are going to be the older Ford axles. They will probably all be significantly wider than what you have, but if you could round up a early bronco 44 you might be in business. Good luck. Your still looking at some fabrication though.

1980 - 92 and up Jeep Wagoneer (SJ). Has six lug pattern, but is easily converted to 5x5.5 if needed.

Make sure they are not Vac-Disconnect.

Hey I got someone that has a chevy 3/4 dana 44. Year 72 I think that is what it was. How would that be looking? You probably can tell I dont know a lot about axles. It will be my first swap.

Chevy pumpkin is on passenger side.

Ford is on drivers side.

You need a drivers side pumpkin.
