What are you using it for that you needed more channels? Did you need 8?

I got a Carbon Cub S that has optional flaps but needs a 7th channel for that purpose.

That looks really neat. I've always wanted to play with rc planes, I did a little with quadcopter but really only enough to get them in the air then crash them.

Check out this kit for a good starter. This is a BNF (Bind 'n Fly) kit so you'll need a separate radio. The SAFE technology on these is incredible and really opens this hobby up for beginners.
