this is an old school steel car jack. I think it was a harbor freight because it is orange. It still works, but it is heavy and a pain. The jack has seen better days. it is old and rusty, but it works.

I think it is a 3 ton.

15 bucks or a spool of welding wire.

other trades considered.

I would take it, I had to leave my jack in Georgia. I won't be down in that area for a week or two though. Are you ever in the tooele area?

I get there occasionally. We will see if it is still here by the time you get this way, or I get that way. I am sick of tripping over it.:)

It may or may not be HF. If it's older it could very well be a Hein Warner.

There were variations of Nesco, Allied, etc., that also came in orange. Not sure, but they're all likely rebadged Chicom stuff.

thanks for the info. I know my friends have all bought several HF jacks in the time I have had this one and it keeps working. :)
