I thought I should post an introduction to my rigs and myself. I'm located in northern Utah in logan, my rigs are a 1999 jeep tj, 2 in lift 31's with the 4.0l, it's blue and is our goat, hence we named it blauer Geist ( blue ghost ) 2001 f250 power stroke 6 in lift running 35's, we call this one ox, he is big, also blue and is used as a tow rig with my 2006 trailmanor. I also have a 1998 7 lug heavy half ton, this one is Mule. It's pretty stock rides great on and off road and has towed my trailer all over the western states. We are a camping family that lives the national parks and national monuments. Last year we drove ox and the trail manor to corpus christi Tx, we visited 20 national parks/national monuments on that trip, my kids earning Jr Ranger patches and badges in each. My work schedule has now changed so I am looking to doing more local trips and doing some camping with ox or Blauer Geist and a tent with some like minded 4x4 enthusiast.

Notajeep. Frozen is right, I regretted buying a 7.3l for the first few months. New battery, a gear reduction starter, upgraded glow plug relay and T6 5w40 all made the cold blooded monster a lot more tolerable to start. I just installed the grill blanket yesterday, I hate the look, but it should help this winter.
