I actually bought my house from his parents. I had my Comanche outside and he seen it and said he was going to build the same thing out of his old high school truck. I’ve seen it around and looks like a clean well put together truck.

It's $5k and it's in SoCal. California won't register it anymore because of its age and being a diesel. Everything works great.

I saw a 4x4 Toyota Hiace with a snorkel early this morning. Most of the JDM vans around are Mitsubishi, so this was definitely odd to see. I'd love to get my hands on one, or one of the old US market vans.

I passed one last Sunday coming down SF Canyon on my way back from Moab. I also saw a Toyota 4 door fire van looking thing. No pictures on any of them.
