I commented in your thread on EXPO but my thoughts on this sort of recover require two winches. Attach both winches at 45 degree angles off the front and rear bumpers pointed uphill, or away from the way the vehicle is sliding. Then have the vehicle that is sliding spin his tires to reduce friction as both winches pull in.
