My new EVO 10s winch pulses on and off when pulling a small load, it seems to work just fine but I have never had a winch do this. Does anyone have experience with this winch?

We've sold/installed quite a few and I have one on a personal rig. Obviously yours has something funky going on with it. You might try a different controller to verify that isn't the culprit. Double check power feed lines. Otherwise I'd contact your retailer and they can get it swapped out for you. Warn is generally rocking with their warranty.
