In the middle of it... Bought a new bumper. when I went to put it on I found this, guess I'm going from a simple bolt on to a how's my welding today project. ;)

I wanted to "dislike" that photo for you. :( Did you get hit at some point? (or hit something...I can't tell if it's a front or rear from here, but there is a skidplate on the ground that might mean it's a front...)

I but you could pull that flat. a couple of 1/4" plates with holes, one inside the frame and one outside. throw a couple bolts in there and break out the impact gun.

It is front passenger side, I never got hit but it was missing the tow point so maybe previous owner did.

That sounds like a better idea than what I did, I ended up cutting it and welding a plate back in. My captive nuts are off a little so fighting that.

Got my rear upside down Falcon shocks installed and trimmed front Poison Spyder fenders to work. Turned out well and these shocks are fantastic!

Delete the factory rear muffler and install new one mid ship. Relocated the sway bar back 1.5”. Trimmed the upper shock mounts to clear the reservoir and adjuster, it may not have been needed but I did weld a lip back into where I trimmed the mounts . Really wasn’t too much work and it is nice to have everything up out of the way.

I completed this 4.5 x 8 trailer remodel a few weeks ago and it turned out so nice that my neighbor came over and purchased it from me as I was wrapping it up.
