General Tech What happened to the Box 4 Rocks aka DD Machine Doubler ???

I bought a 231 Box 4 rocks doubler kit (32 spline) and have been happy with it.... however I just snapped the intermediate shaft from the front case to the rear.... Looks like an air bubble in the metal.... I need to purchase a replacement... but can not find a working number

Does any one have a good number or a suggestion on getting a replacement ?

This is the pic of the shaft.... I went to 32 spline so it would be bullet proof LOL

Notice the metallurgic defects that led to the snap..... does any one on here know a machine shop that could make me one ?????

Looks like a pretty normal break to me. A clean twist like that will always leave a little nubbin in the middle.

Call offroad design, see if their shaft for the 231 doubler has the same specs as the D & D.

bouncing in the bottom of that hole has taken out alot of parts!
