Yeah, but retubing the short side to make it the long side and pass drop complicates it a little bit more.

As long as I can retain the 5 x 5.5" bolt pattern, it would be nice to have kingpins. But I kind of feel like that's polishing a turd, putting a lot of money into a Dana 44. I'll have to go back & reread how you did that.

I wouldn't even worry about king pins on your willys. Grab a 99-04 super duty axle. Doesn't even matter if you grab a d50 since the knuckles are the same. Then you'll be able to make the unit bearings 5 on 5.5.

There's a set of SD axles on ksl right now for $800.

Sounds whiny.

I had to farm out the bolt pattern milling. It was still cheaper than buying new unit bearings, but not by as much as you might think.
