I have had a lot of RC crawlers over the years. I started out with a Axial AX10.
it had: Novak Rooster, 55t motor, front and rear steer, and full cage body.

Shortly after I built mine my brothers and Dad also built rigs.

Then this year I decided it was time to upgrade to a new Axial XR10, it helped Colton/Goingup had one for sale.
It had: HB Sedona tires, Novak M2 dig, 45t motors, Chaotic Crawler Chassis, it was awesome.

Then the Game changer happened. My dad said that he wanted a new XR10 and wanted me to build it. Which esstientially ment there was no limit to the budget. I started out with the XR10 kit, dual Tekin FXR ESC and Tekin pro 45t, and a 4pks radio. I sold myself on this setup. It was amazing!

So I sold the one I bought from Colton, and decided to build a new XR10.

The Plan for the XR10 build:
Dual Tekin FXR w/ Tekin pro 35t motors
Vanquish Motor Plates and Transmission Housings
Servo: Futaba S9157 or Hitec HS-7950TH
Tires:Hot Bodies Rovers white (soft)
Futaba 4pl or 4pks
Stock chassis
Stock shocks with Losi Gold springs
Castle Creations 10 amp BEC
It should be sweet!

My Dad bought me a a new XR10 kit for Christmas, and I already had the Hot Body Rovers so I started with the wheels. I painted the bead locks lime green, and clear coated them too. For wheel weights I ran the ones that came with the kit in the front and no weight in the rear. I also cut the tire foam to look like gears, and drilled small holes in the rims to help keep the tires low on air.

I then painted the Body the same Green as the bead locks, and did the second coat in silver to keep the green light.
