Gas monkeys lost. Awesome, but they did build a competitive car.

Las Vegas drag strip was covered in sand from a dust storm Friday.

Top fuel today on FS1.

Can't believe it's been a year already. It was sooo cool being there and seeing all that monstrous horsepower.

Dont need big tires to have fun.

I like about 2 "reality shows," but comedy isn't everyone's thing lol.

"Powernation" "Hot Rod Garage" "Wheeler Dealers" "For the Love of Cars" are all informational build shows.

Try "Cars of the People," or "Engine Masters" for interesting.

Try "Ignition," "Head to Head," "House of Muscle," "Daily Fix," "Driving Line," "The J Turn." These are all Automotive journalism without the dry husk of bread presenters and dismally written 'opinion comparisons'.
"Motorweek" is like reading "Consumer Reports" on purpose (outside of the dentists office waiting room) lol.

Digging last week's Outlaws. Upset of the year Kamikaze vs. Doc.
El Camino wins. [emoji50]

Yeah, except for the whole retro aspect. My friend Mike and I like watching the retro reviews from the 80s era, and we often wish we could find some of those cars in that condition today.

MotorWeek may be dry, but its consistent. I don't think anyone watches MotorWeek to be "entertained", but rather to get information. Thats what I like about it. You want to know how a 1990 Civic SI stacks up against a 2017? Watch the MotorWeek reviews of each. They put them through the exact same tests and you can see exactly how they compare. Kinda neat that way.

Now if I was like Strapon and spent all my time sitting around watching car shows, then I guess I'd know if there were other programs as consistent. But if I want to see a quick review on a car, I pull up MotorWeek and get my fill. Then get off the couch and go back outside.

So the trend continues about people leaving these "car tech shows" and doing other opportunities

Looks like Twiggy is no longer on Vegas Rat Rods.
They have some new blonde girl who is a body work specialist.

Cool to see girls working on cars though.

We got rid of our Cable the other day and switched to direct TV. Still getting used to the remote & channels.
Turns out we lost a few of our favorites including discovery channel and im missing Street Outlaws.
Let's hear from you direct TV guy's about the car channels.
