When I was a kid in the 80's, my dad worked at Hill on F4's. I had a poster similar to this one but all F16's and F4's. I'm not an aviation enthusiast, but that poster was damned cool. This pic is even cooler. I'm not sure why it stirs the fascist, nationalism in me

The single seater is a F-15C/D Eagle; thats primarily an air superiority fighter. The two seater is an F-15E Strike Eagle, as the name suggests, its used mainly for ground attack. So while they are both F-15's, they have different mission sets.
