Long sad sob story short...the PO of my 6l90 sucked at storage and I found debris past the input seal and headed towards the pump. Yikes. Got into the trans deeper than I planned and now I’m waiting on a valve for the pump that is a known fail point. Mine looks ok. But if I’m this deep...
The pump halves need precise alignment when reassembled. I didn’t want to pay $80-200 for a (I hope) one time use tool. 3D printer for the win.

I bet that would lift a Common Rail in place of a V10?
I'm guessing it would with a sling and a chainfall.

Part of the reason I got this was that my neighbors tractor could not pick up a Cummins 6.7 w/Allison. I have a bigger motor that will thoroughly vet its strength soon.
