South-West Utah Sand Hollow 2 March

I am bringing a group of flat fenders to Sand Hollow in April.
I am planning on coming down in Saturday March 2nd for a short scouting trip.
I had a local jeeper lined up to show me a trail it two in Saturday, but something has come up for him.
Since I will only have one Jeep I am hesitant to do much more than look around a little by myself, but would really like to see something more challenging.
Is there any Sand Hollow locals that would be willing to lead me around on this Saturday? I was hoping maybe to see the new Fawlty Towers trail or any other trail that someone might be running and was willing to have my little flat fender tag along.
My friend is flying out from Illinois to ride with me, and he already has his ticket, so we are kind of committed,

The Rhino Rally motorcycle race got pushed a week. Last year they had the course run along the top of the West Rim. I don’t know where it’s going this year but it may alter your exploring

Thanks for the heads up. I can't seem to find any info on the Rhino Rally. Have you got a link or something?

Thanks. Called around. They will be there, but I think we can still do some scouting.
Still looking for someone to tag along with us, maybe show us around a little, and to tug me out of the sand when I get stuck.

The race starts closer to the Arizona Strip which means the race probably won't come into where you will be exploring around Sand Hollow.

Yea, it looks like they are setting up the pits 8 miles down Warner Valley road.
I did find a local to guide us around. All are still invited to come along. we are going to meet at the Water Tanks. Haven't set the time yet, but hopefully pretty early. We only have one day and want to see as much as we can.

I wish I could dude! I'd love to take you guys through some trails. I love your Jeep (pretty sure I subscribe to your videos). We're on a spending freeze, due to taking our son to New York with his High School Orchestra. I'm dying to get back down though. I'll be lucky to get one prerun trip in before Trail Hero.

in spite of the terrible weather forecast for the Hurricane area, we are going to be exploring Sand Hollow tomorrow (Saturday, 2 March). Our goal for the day is to see as much of the area as we can in one day so we have more of an idea of what we want to do when we make our week long visit in April. I probably will be driving around most of the obstacles in my flat fender tomorrow. Especially since things are supposed to be wet. I'll save most of my attempts at bigger stuff for our April trip.
If anyone wants to tag along with us on this mostly area survey type outing in the rain, we will be meeting at the Water Tanks at 8am. Look for the sort of blue CJ2A from the picture above.

Fawlty Towers remains a good option for that. There are TONS of optional obstacles, and the fact that it weaves back and forth on the main boulevard, You can park the jeep, hop out, and scope the obstacles for the next trip. If you choose, you can bypass the Fault Line area all together if it's too wet. That's what we all did at Jamboree. The map I provided includes some new lines through the Fault Line. Have fun! Looking forward to seeing some pics.

I saw your video from Sand Hollow. Looks like you had a great time. Great driving. I love seeing stockish flatties killing it on difficult trails. Too bad for Dave's little mishap :(
