hey whats up yall. i recently completed the hanging tree trail 8/10/19
call the sheriff and ask where to park trailers , or call the college and ask if u can park there , or get in touch with land owner to park on property @ 5$ a tow rig.( at least thats what he charged us )

the trail is dope asf, with that being said..... if u are scared of body damage, dont go. if your scared to break parts, dont go. this trail is technical.
if you do have someone break in the group there isnt to much room to get around , some ares are one way in and very tight. the water falls we found were the winches came in( we used winches twice on the whole run )
bring fluids, tools, spare parts, ham radios, food and water etc etc.

we had 4 rigs with us my jku , a cj , xj, and tj between us four and breaks, trail fixes , spotting, winches etc it took us about about 7.5 hrs to complete. more rigs you have the longer itll take, and the more breaks you have the longer itll take. so be prepared to be there all day. id highly recommend lockers, winches, sliders, recovering gear, tree straps, snatch blocks, c02 or air compressors, tools, spare parts like shafts, a welder hahaha.
ive ran alot of trails across the states from Texas to Pittsburgh, this is easily one of my top 5 trails to run. pack it in and pack it out!!!!! have fun yall , i might see yall there this weekend idk yet lol. still fixing my jeep from the damage i got hahaha

i recently tracked the trail using GAIA GPS, i didn't want to make it public because i dont want people ****ing up the land owners land and abusing the trail. i gave a copy of the map to Jeremy hicks to let y'all use on the run. its not perfect but i edited to where yall can enter canyon, trail head , and exit.
Welcome to RME, Ray.

We're heading out of West Haven...I took Friday off, so if you know of somewhere good to camp, I'm open to suggestions. Might be better than waking up at 4:30 Saturday

Greg,
I'm looking to join the HTT run if you have room for 1 more truck.
SAS Tacoma, 2 lockers, double cases, 35" mud terrains

Unfortunate that Cory won't be there, but hey, if he can make fist fulls of dough in Vegas, I say go for it! Anyone that knows Sevier county knows it's a hard boat to row when you're self employed and the economy is down the crapper.

Camping is allowed. The camp fee stays the same-$10 per night-no matter if it's a tent, truck or Jinx's Outlaw 2017 Prevost H3-45. "Roughing it" with nothing but a sleeping bag is a very bad idea. The local vermin love to sleep with people. The benefit of camping on the property is you don't have to ford the creek over and over, and you get a good view of town. If anyone wants to bring travel trailers, there are a number of good sites for those. Restrooms are state of the art sagebrush & catholes. You can pick where to camp or I can give suggestions.

If you like pizza, Roy's is really good, but they won't deliver. Yet (I am looking into it). There's also Little Caesars (god help us) and in Manti & Mt; Pleasant there's Main Street Pizza. I doubt they'll deliver. The best is Cavalier's in Mt. Pleasant. And they won't deliver out there.

Market Fresh Grocery in Ephraim is closing down, so getting groceries means either Manti or Mt. Pleasant. Gunnison also has a grocery, as does Salina ("Barrett's") and Richfield (Lin's"). Unless WalMart is your cup of tea, then there's one in Ephraim and one in Richfield.

Gas is not cheap here. Unless you catch the gas wars in Salina at the right time. Love's truckstop is having a gas war with the new truck stop across the street, and I topped off my truck once already at $2.559 for 88 octane unleaded.

And the owner says anyone that doesn't clean up after themselves gets an overnighter with Whoopi Goldberg and Roseann Barr while wearing a "I support the NRA" t-shirt.

Any questions, feel free to call. (435)299-0498. But text me first telling me who you are as I'm screening my calls (spam callers).

I was just thinking how much ahead of the other groups you guys would be if you all camped up here. Even if you camp on either SITLA or BLM land. Talked to Jeremy, he can't make it.

Getting paid to go would be a bonus but having my travel, meals, and hotel completely paid for is way too good to pass up. im super stoked and will take lots of crappy dusty pictures for you all to ease the pain of me backing out. I r genuinely sad i wont get to meet some of yall. Ive met youknowwho jinx, coco, ilean, zuikijames and several others on that trail. we will be down at sand hollow come trail hero time.
