I've always avoided EJS because of the crowds and high prices and all that, but this thread has convinced me that I need to go next year.

i had an awesome time as always! the weather was nice with the occasional light rain except for sunday morning it poured but it was done before we hit the trail.

the xj performed great! i just looked at my odometer and i logged over 600 miles from thurs-sun and did some fun stuff like escalator in particular. i was pretty happy with it considering i've got bald 33's. my hatch is sanded down from the rock but it's a cool battle scar

Is it just me or is the waterfall on upper hell really filled in with stuff washed down canyon? it just looks much smaller than it did last time I seen it. That jeep that went over backwards was cool, those 2 guys standing down in the hole where everyone roll's over are not to bright though, that could have been bad.

First off, AWESOME pictures as always Jeff!!!! I don't know how you do it, but you guys always take the best pictures!!!!!
Second.. Even a year later, that Jeep JK IMMORTAL is still so freakin sweet!! I'm not a huge JK fan, but if I did get one I would make it like this thing! Between the high clearance/strength of that Dynatrac ProRock 44, and the additional clearance and lower gearing of the portals, riding on 42s with such little lift but still has twist. Combine all of these with the Hemi power and the room for the whole family in comfort that is a gift of the long wheelbase.... About the only thing I would change would be the addition of rear steer for those tight places and it would be one sweet rig that you could use as a DD if you want too, and still tackle trails like Prichett!!

I have to agree that this thread is chocked full of awesomeness!!!
Keep it coming everyone!!

Porkchop!!

I sure loved Porkchop when I saw it in Moab. Couldn't quit looking at it. A dream machine for me.

This is a great example of good friends. After breaking everything, his buddies picked up his rig between tow others, and carried it down the hill.

Mashed Potato climb. I don't know the guy in the red CJ, but he knew the rig well and could drive quite respectably. My attempt is right after him.
