Well that worked. Kind of... I basically destroyed one because the type of metal it was made out of couldn't take much heat. It's zip-tied together and covered in beautiful liquid electric tape. The other I got lucky with :D so now at least the screen holds it own about +/- 10 degrees from vertical.
Yeah, I think I'll try that. I already have both hinge assemblies out of the laptop, so in case I totally mess up, it won't damage the goods. IIRC the BYU sculpture workshop has a little welder. I don't want to bug anyone for a non-4x4 thing
Download ubuntu , burn it to a CD (use ISOBurn if you don't have anything), then remove the old hard drive and stick the new one in the secondary spot (or primary I guess). Turn on the computer and after it loads use gparted to partition it. (if you need more help on this I can explain it in...
Has anyone ever broken their laptop's hinges? I just tore my laptop down to find 2 broken hinge assemblies. They cost $100 on ebay (which ain't bad, but I can do better). I don't have a clue what material they're made out of. Aluminum? Magnesium? Titanium? It has a nice ring to it when I flick...
Ok. So I suck at selling boats. Sorry Carl. This time I posted on KSL and here at the same time, then went on a short drive and within 15 minutes AGAIN it got sold. This time for $5900. I have no idea how much this thing is worth, but I've had it. Again, sorry that I didn't let the RME peeps at...

What does that say about my asking price? I wanted $6000 but typed $4950. Either I was taking crazy pills, or the guy who called me at 7-11 while I was taste-testing their slurpy selection was on crazy pills. Go craigslist!

4 wheel parts likes to pimp the genuine gears, but they're crap. I had them install some 4.56's and then made them fix it for free when they blew up on me twice! Finally I got fed up and instead of cashing in the warranty I went to Six States and they put in some Precisions - been running fine...
My rear shock mount (passenger side) broke off clean on my way to Vegas. No adverse effects, but I saw in the Safety Inspection manual that they need to be connected. I know it's been awhile since I was on here last, I just need to get this welded up quick. I'm in Provo on the east side. Speak...
