I just adjusted my fuel pressure down to 1.5 PSI and readjusted my idle and my idle mixture down as low as possible while still running decent. didn't make a difference. I also rejetted the main primary down 1 size to a 20 and the idle jet is at a .40. still diesels. aargh.

    carburator dieseling problem

New in this case means spanking new. less than 2000 miles and i've put all of them on it. I'm pretty sure there is no carbon buildup. I've run premium and lucas fuel cleaners multiple times. I've revved this thing up and poured water straight down the carb and nothing black came out the exhuast...

I have an 1986 Toyota pickup i just put a new 22R motor in. I bought a weber 34/34 DGEC carb to put on it and i'm having a hard time getting it to turn off. It consistently diesels(spits and sputters and tries to fire) after I turn the key, sometimes up to 20ish seconds. Here's what I have tried...

    isuzu tranny in yota truck?

most toy auto tranny's are pretty worthless. at least the older 80's ones. i was looking for isuzu cuz i've heard both were produced by aisin and the bell housings interchange. it might be just a rumor.

    85 runner tranny

so i checked out the site you mentioned and i'm running the A340F. I also read that toyota used the same tranny until 1999. I wondering if it's possible to get a tranny from a late model runner or pickup and swap it in. I'll need a strong tranny cuz i've got a 3.5 inch lift and 33's to put on...

    85 runner tranny

so i just bought a 85 runner. it came with the auto tranny. I would just as soon keep it, but i have no experience with them. everything else i've had has had the 5 speed. this thing shifts pretty smooth but doesn't downshift when decelerating very well. it also wraps up in first gear before...

    toyota tranny question

I just bought an 85 runner with the automatic tranny. when i hold it in first it goes great but when it shifts it bogs down big time. my friend mentioned some solenoid on the tranny that might be bad. any clues? Its got the 22RE and it runs good.
