ive got a angine harness from a 94 wrangler with the 4.0 and a body harness from a 89 wrangler.any idea if the body harness for the 4.2 will work with the 4.0 wiring harness from the engine?
thanks for all the info so far guys been a big help. also been wondering how easy it is to actually build one from scratch. not saying it would be easy :ugh:
its just hard to buy a 1000 dollar axle when you know your gonna gut it and rebuild it anyways if ya catch my drift.
is it possible to turn a ball joint into a kingpin or will that require cutting the knuckles off. i plan on doing full hydro steering on my jeep later also which would hold up better to the stress of the full hydro?
just wondering what the strength differences were between the chev and ford dana 60's were and whether the king pin or ball joint setup is best. also havent heard much about the 9inch rearends how well do they hold up what tire sizes? any info is appreciated.
any advice on a bender for building cages? not too sure about the hydraulic ones from harbor freight ive heard it put kinks in the tube. what do you guys that have shops use?
ya ive already checked and replaced the crankshaft postioning sensor (new) im not sure if the injector problem is just all electrical or what but. the whole deal is i had the 4.2 carburated brick of an engine in there and i was swapping in the newer 4.0 for obvious reasons haha. but the engine...
haha yeah well i tried the green w/ orange tracer jump and i could only get a few of those injectors to work so im thinking i may need some new injectors. but at 59 bucks a pop i dont think i want to dump any more money into gettin the dang thing running.
well ive pulled to fuel rail to see if i was getting any spray from the injectors at all and they werent spraying at all. the motor had been sittin for a while. could it possibly be clogged injectors?
