Took the truck out again for some more tuning and sheared the 1/4" panhard bracket in half... So it was rebuilt with 4 different gussets and another tube that goes from the passenger corner to the lowest point on the panhard. Note the additional wrapped plating on the bend. New skid plate...

Couple of things to update on. The rear axle was rebuilt and I snapped a new set of cogs in. The deepest ratio available for this axle is 4.88. Ran a heat cycle on the gears then it went out for 125 mile shake down, through the West desert. After 4 hours of beating on this truck the rear...

Found the limits of my forks again...square edge hits at 70 nearly ended the day. Ordered up some racetech gold valves. I will finally tune it instead of settling for subpar performance. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

If possible always tig weld the bungs. Better heat control, no spatter, etc. I prefer to leave the heim out when welding...haven't had an issue yet. And like mentioned above anti-seize is your friend. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
