Last night I got some BB's, and put them in the tank and filled it half full with water. After shaking it around for a while. I dumped it out in a strainer in a bucket to save the BB's. Thanks everyone. I'm excited to get the rust out of the tank, and see if it will fire up. I've seen some diffrent ways to get the rust out, like the Kreem tank cleaner & liner kit. I've also seen something called Rust Rescue. Just want something cheap that will get the job done.

So how many people in this thread ended up getting a bike. I still would love to get a 70's - 80's Yamaha DT 250 or 400 or TT/XT 250 or 500, or any old enduro. But it would have to be dirt cheap or free with the way money is right now.

From the pictures it looks to be in pretty good shape. Just ask the guy if he cleaned it well, and stored it with oil in the barrel to prevent rust. To check the barrels on these types of guns you need to have a bore light of some kind since you can't open the action. Or you can be cheap like...
