Not dead set at all. After a bit of discussion last night, we've decided that we like it just how it is, so we're not doing anything to it.

We'll, I wasn't looking for extreme. I was just trying to get a feel for what extreme for a WJ is, but really, we paid a bunch of money for it and I think I'd have a heart attack if something happened to it. Anyway, though thanks for all the help guys.

We just got our 99 WJ yesterday, so *plug* if anyone's interested in our 89 XJ search for us on the classifieds. Here's my questions though on these WJ's. It's a limited and way posh, but it's got 78k miles on it, so I think the ride could be a touch better. Anyone try those OME springs...

Okay I know Kenne Bell makes a supercharger for the 4.7 and yes that is on the list of things I want to do to my new WJ (hopefully picking it up today) I can't seem to find any headers for the power tech 4.7. Do they even exist? What N/A mods can I do to this thing? :D

SO anyone have any ideas about what might have caused that to happen with my pulley?

So we took the Jeep (89 cherokee limited) to the pizza place, got a pizza, and as we slowly went to drive away, the crank pulley flew off sheering a transmission line and destroying a brand new belt. This ever happen to anyone? What would POSSIBLY cause this? So we were stranded, two days...

That's good to know. We're going to be leaving after 6 on Saterday, so it won't be so bad. We're hoping just to make it to Vegas that night and drive the rest of the way on Sunday. On the way back though...that's another story. Guess we better go ahead and get that spare mounted too...:)

K, hockey pucks? Seriously, dead kids don't appeal to me, particularly when they are my own. Yes, I meant the lift. Tires are going to be spensive.

Yea it's stock. I already did the mud mod a time or two, but as it washes off, I'm thinking something permenant. *cough cough smartass cough cough* :D I could do the spacer thing though. It's totally stock.

Are there any mods I can do that are pretty cheap? We're buying property so I have to spend money on more substantial stuff and less toys. The jeep just got painted (well the bad panels anyway).

my zuk did 70-75 ok, but those tires bounced me all over the road, and Mike wouldn't even let me put the kids in it if I was going on the freeway. Good think someone did me that favor and ripped the tires off of it.

so I did the heater core change out, and that was a nightmare. I got my wires all hooked up, and I thought, hey I'll just put some toons on while I get my screws put in and everything. I'm about done, and need to go inside for a while, and I try to take my key out. It acts like it's not in...

So now I"ve got all but two screws out of the black plastic pieces, but I can't see how to get them out. They are all the way underneath the dash, and they have to come out for me to get where I need to go. How do I get the top grey part of the dash off?

I'm replacing it right now, and I've been told that the whole dash needs to come out. I've got the bottom grey part out, and there's a bunch of black plastic down there that I assume has to come out. However, I'm not feeling like these screws I"m taking out are actually loosening everything...

Mind if I borrow one?
