anyone know where i can get some tubing that i could use for my radiator, and some larger tubing for a intercooler has to be non-corossive? before i was havnig to use some galvanized couplings to link radiator hoses together but the galvanized crap has me worried. also i need some angle iron...

the adaptor is from acmeadaptors.com. the exhaust comes out the passenger side so i will have to re-route it to the drivers side. the electronic injection would be with a tdi, mine is mechanical, ALOT easier to deal with ;)

nope Toyota only made a 2.0l diesel i believe, but they are HARD to get ahold of, and with the turbo even worse. I went another rout for my diesel fit ;) it is a 1.9L Turbo from VW, this motor came out of a Canadian 96 golf. The 1.9 is similar or even lower than the 22R but mine was smoking...

I am currently swapping a 1.9 turbo into my 84 Toyota pickup, today I sold my 22R and the guys suggested that I start a thread about my swap so I am. Right now I am still trying to get the engine and transmission together so I can fab up some motor mounts. I can't get back to working on it...

didn't know that thanks :D. also i meant the pcv valve in my first post also asau his IS a 4.0L...since they never used a 4.2L in the cherokee or comanche(what he has)...if it were a wrangler then it would be a 4.2L;)

well your engine is a 4.2L not a 4.0L. checker or autozone gaskets SUCK!!! goto a dealer and buy a mopar valve cover gasket they are not that expensive but will work a hell of alot better. also check your bov valve cause something is causing the pressure to build up, which it shouldn't, and it...

you can get a can of herculiner as low as $59 when it is on sale $79 otherwise. i put it on the bed of my dads full size dodge and still had some left over. has been there 2 years now ;)

herculiner worked good for me, it goes on smoother if you spray it on, or a slightly rough surface if you roll it on

do you want to sell your old tranny? i need one :-/

has anyone done this, or looked at one real close? would i spray the winshield frame with herculiner let it dry and then install the winshield. i am shure that it if i can get the winshield in and not to leak then i can get the rest ot work :D
