14 bolt going 4 link

here are some pictures so far, i will start a build thread but figured show some progress so far. im a little worred about the rear bar i added, i think it could be a rock magnet, i like it where it is but i do have some room to move it up. there will be more tube added to the upper truss for the top links and i plan to weld some to the center section and yes i will weld the tubes this time, no more broken 14 bolt tubes for me, jason.

Looks good--what's that rear bar for though?

well after breaking one side 14 bolt plug welds and spinning the tube i am trying to spread out the force, so the cover is 3/8 thick and i figured tie into that to, cant hurt. plus i will weld the tubes in this time and weld a few pieces of tube to the center section. im not done buy any means, they only thing i want to break in this axle now is the shaft's :greg:, jason.

I agree, should work great. Gonna clear the tank/fuel cell okay?

thanks and yes it will clear the full cell, thats in the back of whats left of the body. once i get it in i will post up more pictures, the rear cover is the first thing to hit anything. the bodys cut that much so the rear bar is a little concern, ( the one on the cover ) i dont care if it grinds it up a little but i dont want it to a be a hook and hold me back, ( more throttle then ) jason.

got some more work done, i made a plate for the pinion support out of 1/2'' and tied it with some tube. im not sold on the plate i added from the upper support to the pinion tube. i also welded the tubes in using just the MM250, i set the paramators up a little higher on the machine and welded them all vert-up. i have the coil buckets made and half welded to the tubes, more to come, jason.

Weld it all up and call it macaroni. You've done plenty of overthinking/building now, it'll work. :) Looks great, too.
