1985 Chevrolet S-10

I have a 1985 Chevrolet s-10. My neighbor came over offering to buy my truck. He asked me to name a price and I have know idea what it is worth. I am looking for any suggestions on what price to give him. It has a 2.8 V6 which runs very well. It has about 155000 miles on it. It has 5 speed manual transmission. It has little rust but not bad.

Any ideas on where to start the price would be great.

My cousin took his (running) 1985 S-10 to the scrap yard where they gave him $350. Without seeing yours its hard to say, roughly guessing I'd say $800-1000.
