I just installed a new Genright tank and Sending unit in my YJ. It already had the 20 gallon tank in it so I wasnt really upgradingsize. The gauge has worked on and off for the past few years and mostly worked after filling so I determind it to be the sending unit as to why I had installed a new unit. But after install and filling the gauge is still not working. I thought I had found a fuse once ago but I cant seem to find it again. As well I have upgraded to a Howell Injection system so Im wondering if I maybe removed something when I had done that? Any Ideas on where to start??

From my experience, poor grounds seem to be the most common problem with sending units and with trailer lights. Try a jumper with alligator clips on both ends to go from the sending unit ring to a good ground, or even directly to the battery negative post to check. Good luck (I really hate electrical problems!!).
