Engine: 4.0 inline-six with cool air intake, 40 series Flow Master cat back.
Transmission: Four-speed auto
Transfercase:stock 231 with sye kit
Suspension:5.5 inch Rubicon express long arm kit with two inch spacers, 5.5 inch leaf springs with 2 inch block,
Front axle:dana 30 with lockerite, 4:56 (soon to be hybrid) TeraFlex high steer kit.
Rear axle:dana 35 with Detroit, 4:56 (soon to be dana 44)
Tires:35/12.50/15 Super Swamper ssr radials.

I thought those forest service trucks get treated pretty badly... What kind of condition was yours in when you bought it?

ive talked to a couple people that previously worked for the forest service and said the government is very particular about the maintanace, probably one of the cleanest 96s ive seen. and couldnt be happier with the performance except for the dana 30 and 35
