2001 durango stalling out

Hey guys,
I have a friend with a 2001 Dodge Durango 110K 4.7 V8 that keeps stalling out. No codes showing. I am thinking fuel pressure or catalytic converter?

anyone with experience on these?

does it start up fine? on my parents durango and my jeep when the battery took a dump it stalled out with no codes

yeah it will start up, but when you increase the rpms it will stall...

catalytic converter maybe. when it's cold warm both?

pretty much both.

I am now wondering about the idle air control motor... Doesn't this stuff happen when that goes out. but shouldn't that flash a code?
