Well, a few of us (with the suggestion from notajeep) decided to run a trail today... The final decision was to run Steel Horse.

We met up with a group from SLC about 9:30 and was unloading around 10. The long way in was blocked from a local construction company building a gravel pit where there didnt used to be one... pushed the dirt right into the wash , so we went in the short way.

It seemed like a lot more silt had filled in making parts of the trail less rocky... still was a good time :D

Lots of pictures, I'm a picture freak

!!! I like that abortion of a crewcab!! Mad Max!!!

Not gona win any car shows  but thats part of what makes it so much fun. Women and children run in fear  when they see that thing come around the corner. I keep saying I am going to finish it and make it look all pimp, but reality sucks and I am out of $$$$. One day it would be nice to have a bed that could hold some gear

I think that quad cab is rad, but it would be more rad if it had fenders and a hood so it looked like something. even if they were doved in a little bit.

It has :greg:. The front clip is one piece tilt that removes with 2 pins and 2 electrical connections(well almost). The doors still have to be bolted on and off, but one day I hope to build some kinda of quick release for them. It has Front and rear bumper extensions that remove easily with the mud flaps attached to the rears. I have built air bags on top of the coil springs so I can raise or lower it 5.5". This also allows me to adjust the ride, by adding only a small amount of air to the bags they soaks up small bumps in relative comfort. With the bags deflated the frame height is just under Utah code, even with the big 44"s on. I do have a set of 38" swampers to fit under the fenders and again one day I plan to build removable flairs for the Boggers. It still has a steering gear box with assist in the form of an AGR kit. I had a bed on it for a while but I did not like it so I took it off with the intent of building another, but that was over a year ago, again one day :-\.
The whole idea is to be able to drive the family to, on, and from diffrent trails. Then leave all the sheet metal home for the really nasty stuff. Again one day.
