it is a 1992. not a 62.................

I am going to have a complete 92 XJ for sale as is .
it technically runs, but the engine is shot it drives and has for a few years, but it has a wicked knock top and bottom end. the engine is the 4.0 high output

trans seems perfect
4x4 is all working
no batery
rear end is 8 3/4 ch ( maybe ) thats what i was told when i got it.
besided the engine.
the doors all work. the window moters are shot
the heater control system is shot
the interior. is actually pretty good
the rear leafs are saggy

coolant system was fine. new water pump
bumpers are stock
trires are stock size but in decent shape, all terrains
wheels are stock

brakes. ehhhhh it stopped the last time i drove it. but squishy

this would be perfect for the rear end, trans and interior. body. ext

I do not know a price. hit me up i might take it.

this should be available after this weekend.
the paint won't match as i am making a good one out of 2

I need the engine wiring harness, computer and all sensors off the trans and engine. Also need the complete distributor and coil and stuff. Maybe even the throttle body. Any idea on price and where are you located? Just reread, if you part it out let me know. I dont have room for another jeep

Ok here's the deal:
I'm really torn as what to do here. I have my 92 how i want it. lift paint tires. ext. i know its bugs and trust it. ( till the engine )

i have a guy that will swap engines ( provided they are identical enough to swap for 400 bucks.)

doing this, i will be " parting out " an 87 XJ with the ( bad engine ) in the back.
the drive train is probably better for a crawler than what i have , but oh well.
it has a dana (33 ) i'm guessing. and had the button on the dash that says more power or something. ( i have no idea what that is or means )
the tires are shot
the wheels are stock
no lift
door motors shot
interior is pretty good
no radio
has hitch.

i would like to sell the 87 less engine make offer
ebay has the rear for 350 +
transmission for 350 +
trans case for 75 +

make offer.

OK.
back to plan A.
I will be parting out the 92. it has 187,000 miles on it.

it will have the following:
stock engine ( running) but about to EXPLODE
stock trans ( automatic) as far as I know , it is tip top shape.
trans case
8.25 rear end
bald tires
interior is all there and in ( decent ) shape.
bad battery
headlights are blown out on low beams.
breaks......typical
rear hatch is there but beat,
doors there , inner pannels are beat
window motors dead
inside door handle on front pass side inop.
cooling system is nearly new. pump. and radiator.

technically this jeep runs and drives. , however the engine is about to explode.

i really would like to see this as a "whole " unit . and not dissect it and deal with jeep carcass for years. that being said . i want 700 for it. if i decide to dissect it, I know i can get more for it. but if you are interested, hit me up i like trades too. and getting my 87 up is going to need a few parts.

I should have this ready by next weekend. but it is available to see now.
