68RFE transmission

I am needing someone with 68RFE transmission expertise and has built a few of these. Is there anyone on here that done these?

The other day I was stuck in 4th gear, could not up shift or down shift out of 4th. I had to stop put it park turn off truck, then restart it and I had all my gears again. What would cause this to happen, what do I need to do to prevent this from happening.
I have read it might be a solenoid or maybe a valve body needing to be replaced.

Well the valvebody would need replaced because there is only one valve in it.Its electronicly controlled by the solenoid block which what might cause the issue.Have you had it scanned for codes?

Have not had it scanned yet but I am Monday.

Ya thats the only way to know,cause it could be a sensor on the engine causing limp mode.
