I'm selling my 87 Samurai.
This Samurai fails emissions for high HC at idle. Passed safety. Normally I've been able to get it to pass with a fresh catalytic convertor. I welded a new one on this year, and no love. The engine burns oil and had a small coolant leak near the water pump I stopped with just a little BARS leak. There are also some oil leaks. I have a spare 1.3L engine included.
This Samurai has Old Man Emu springs and 30 x 9.50 x 15 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM tires. The transfer case has 4.16:1 gears and Twisted Fab twin stick.
The engine has a Doug Thorley header and 2" exhaust. The engine is fuel injected. I'm running a 1.6L fuel injection system with a 1.3L injector installed in the throttle body. Aluminum valve cover and K&N filter on this engine.
