Well... I think it's time.... Looking at parting out my 4Runner. It's my baby... But I need to start working on my other buggy. It's got me on the podium more than once this year.
Axles: $1300
ifs rear, 4.10 welded diff.
85 front, full bottom and top truss, new bearings throughout the axle, 4.10 Spartan locked, Rcv gun drilled 300m shafts and birfields, trail gear high steer, brand new trail gear stud less hubs less than 2 miles on them) v6 calipers, vented and slotted rotors, that axle is BUILT...
Engine/trans:$700obo
3.0, runs great, has a tick (think it's a valve tick) 230k needs starter motor. And a 5spd trans with a brand new clutch (less than 100 miles on it) will include bomb proof motor mounts.
Tcases: $2,000
inchworm 3.0 to gear driven adapter 23 spline input, stock gears in the crawl box, trail gear dual case adapter with 23-23 spline coupler, rear case has 4.7's with a trail gear rear disconnect (front wheel drive/dig) and a trail gear dual case cross member.
Chassis: $500obo
88 Toyota 4 runner that's sas'd full interior roll cage, body is beat up but the cage is solid. Could easily be turned into a full tube buggy. The cage is made up of 1.5" Dom tube and it's been proven strong after multiple rollovers and flops.
Or buy it how it sits as is for $4000
