1989 Jeep Comanche: 4.0L, bored throttle-body (62mm), radiator swap (pressure bottle delete), 3" intake, new water pump, new thermostat, two electric fans, extra engine grounds, newer motor mounts, new timing chain, battery disconnect, led tail lights, rear tube bumper, bed cage, extended brake lines, custom long arm front, 4" lift coils, 64" Chevy springs rear, plated front beam axle, AMC model 20 rear (with single-piece axle shafts, thick tubes, locker, 4.10 gears), newer heim joint steering, ZJ steering pump/box, 33's on aluminum wheels.

Needs a new transmission output shaft bearing,two tires and a muffler. Still drives, just a bit of vibration due to bearing.

Yeah it's street worthy. I drive it around currently. It would likely pass emissions. Never had a problem with safety. I haven't had to worry about IM's for a couple of years now, because it is registered down south.
