Pictures of said closure?

I didn't get any pics of it, because I was busy trying to reason with a grumpy woman in the passenger seat. She wouldn't let me attempt the boulders. And the bypass I'm referring to is the one just off to the right of that initial climb, it goes off into the trees. And it was "gated off" by logs and sign posts.

The rock garden is the trail. I've never seen it fenced off, but that little detour through the trees to the right is not.
