Just a quick update:

in! We appreciate your willingness to participate and make your voices

This is the bill we are VERY concerned about. It passed the House
Transportation Committee meeting this last week. There were some
amendments made and for the exception of raising the age of adult
supervision from 18 to 21, the amendments moved in the right direction,
but this bill still leaves much to be desired. It has now been sent to a
rules committee and then it will move to the full house for debate and a
final vote. It may take some time to get through the rules committee,
your best opportunity to express your feelings on this bill will be when
it is scheduled to go before the full house. You may not want to write
until we see when it will go to the floor for debate that way your
concerns and or support will be fresh in your representative mind. We
will watch the calendars and let you know when that happens. At that
time it would be good for you to let your local rep know where you stand
on this issue.

This is a bill that will place a $2 VOLUNTARY check off box on your Utah
vehicle (including OHV) registration forms. Next year when you register
your OHV or your car you can donate $2 to USA-ALL and others by checking
the right box. You may have noticed the check off boxes for vision and
organ donation. If this bill passes there will be one for motorized
access to public land! The extra dollars will be donated to local
non-profit organizations like USA-ALL who are actively working towards
keeping public land OPEN to motorized vehicles! The bill sponsor is Mike
Noel from Kane County. He is truly a champion of responsible motorized
access. This bill has passed committee and will be debated and voted on
the House floor sometime on MONDAY AFTERNOON (it may be a little sooner
or later than that, send your thoughts anyway and save them because we
will need you to send them again to your senator when the time is
right). Please contact your local rep and give Representative Noel and
USA-ALL as much support on this as you can!
WHAT YOU CAN DO: PLEASE email your representative and STRONGLY encourage
them to support this legislation, it will give concerned citizens an
opportunity to easily donate to an organization that represents their
interests.
