So after the install of 1 ton axles under my bronco I cant seem to get rid of rear tire lock up. bought a adjustable proportioning valve to install on the rear brake line. Where are people installing these? Right after the master cylinder before the distribution h block or after? thanks

I would ditch the factory prop valve. Run the lines from the master straight to the front brakes, then the same with the rear.

Plumb the rear line into the cab under dash, then back out to rear brakes.

I'm running one on my Camaro since I deleted the ABS. Got it from summit racing for $35.

You run the front brakes direct to the master cylinder.
The rear brakes go through the valve then into the master cylinder.

You adjust the valve to decrease pressure to the rear, until the rear stops locking up under hard braking. Front always has full pressure.

Too much front brake? Just dont press on the pedal so hard.

Kidding aside. I set up all my rigs front and rear direct off the master. Then if needed, (usually is) a prop valve is added to reduce the rear brake grab.

Just to add...You also want to adjust it so that you have full control over the rig in a hard braking situation. If it's not adjusting right, the rig will fish tail or the rear will lock up. There's a sweet spot there and once you get it right, you'll love it!
Do you ever find yourself with to much front brake? If I run it direct from the mc???

Even the stocker never controlled the front brakes, only the rear ;)

Remember too that a prop valve only limits the amount of pressure that makes it to the axle. So if your rears aren't locking now, the valve won't help (unless your factory valve is really the issue, either way ditch the stock one).
